How to Get Plausible on Your Platform

Whether you are coming from Google Analytics, Matomo, or starting fresh — we make it simple.

1. Install

Plausible is installed on your platform in one click from our managed tools catalog. DNS is auto-configured, SSL is included, WAF protection is on by default.

2. Add your sites

Add each website you want to track. You get a lightweight tracking script for each. Drop it into your site header — or let us do it if it is on your WordPress.

3. Migrate from Google Analytics

Historical data from GA cannot be migrated (Google does not allow it), but your going-forward analytics will be on your platform, private and yours.

4. Connect with WordPress

If you have WordPress on your Ecomposable platform, Plausible integrates cleanly. No extra plugins needed. Your analytics, your CMS, same platform, same login.

Do I need an enterprise license?

Most teams do not. The open source version includes all core analytics features. You only need enterprise if you require SSO, advanced audit logs, or role-based access control.

Is my data really mine?

Yes. Plausible runs on your Ecomposable platform in your siloed environment. The database is yours. You can export everything anytime. We do not access your analytics data.

Can I upgrade to enterprise later?

Yes. Start with the open source version. If you later need enterprise features, you can purchase a license from Plausible and we will help you configure it.

What happens if Plausible shuts down?

Your self-hosted instance keeps working. It is your software, your data. You are not dependent on their hosted service. That is the power of self-hosted open source.
